Describe the status precisely
Postponed, postponed until further notice and cancelled are different outcomes. Some supplied headlines and quoted email wording do not describe the same status. This edition does not collapse them into a stronger claim.
For a developing story, separate an organiser’s account, an attendee’s description, a formal document and the remaining unknowns. Updating that record is more useful than escalating a headline.
